World Hunger

This is a video that my friends, Antonia and Elsa, and I made. We composed and sang the song in the background, and I put it together with a little 2 minute video. We would like you to have a little look at it, if you’d like, and also forward it to others you know, so we can spread the message of injustice and unfairness that many in this world have to bear, and also to be aware of their actions and not waste what they are fortunate enough to have.

Indian Ink

As you know, both my father and I love photography, especially my father. Wherever he goes, he’s almost always going click, click, click with his camera, and I hope to be as good a photographer as him one day. Recently my dad decided to publish a book with our best photos that we took in India. All the photos were taken in 2008, during monsoon, the asian rainy season that falls between summer and autumn. ‘Pollution – The Earth Cries’ published in Earth Focus

My poem, ‘Pollution – The Earth Cries‘ got published in a global magazine, Earth Focus. In Grade 6, everybody in my class sent something – stories, poems, drawings, anything – about the Earth and its problems, and how we can help, etc. I sent in my poem and a drawing. We didn’t hear anything from the magazine after that but this year, in grade 7, my teacher got a package in my name and … voila!! New story

On the 5th of March, we celebrated World Book Day in our school. We swapped books and had a huge bake sale! The money from the sale will go on buying more books for our school library. Our school magazine was also published on that day. One of my stories that they published in it was ‘Poisonous Pathways‘, which I had written for the World Book Day Competition. The results from the competition haven’t arrived yet, but I’m happy that my story is in the school magazine! I’ve posted it here so that you can see it!
