11 Random Facts About Me

  1. I study English Literature and Creative Writing at university.
  2. I will defend English Literature and Creative Writing as a “real subject” that will get me a “real job” until the very end. Just try me. 😉
  3. My favourite author is Roald Dahl because reading his books made me want to be an author.
  4. Because I no longer have to do maths, I sometimes do it for fun.
  5. Through this, I’ve realised I’m still no good at maths.
  6. I speak five languages. Well, I say I do, but I need to practice…
  7. I have a fear of being upside down.
  8. I overuse smileys. 😀
  9. I want to improve at playing the piano, but don’t have the patience to practice.
  10. I double-check a lot of things. Did I lock my door? Yes. Am I sure? Yep. Let me check again, just in case…
  11. I like making lists.

11 Questions I Got Asked

  1. What inspires you?
    The world. 🙂 Both the good things and the bad.
  2. What has been the greatest achievement of your life?
    Being someone I can (more or less) be proud of.
  3. Books, movies, songs, plays – what do you like? Could you name the favourite?
    I love all these things! Some of my favourites are Matilda by Roald Dahl, Meet the Parents (and PK for those who know/watch Bollywood movies), Paradise by Coldplay and Death of a Salesman respectively.
  4. Whom do you admire and why?
    Would it be cheesy to say I admire my parents? I’ll say it anyway. They have so many qualities I admire and aspire towards. Also Charlie Chaplin, because of his incredible talent.
  5. What all creative things do you do?
    Writing, photography, painting (badly), singing (terribly), Indian classical dance (specifically Kathak), acting, and doodling. 🙂
  6. With all the creative things that you possess what else would you want to add to your list?
    I would love to learn to play the guitar.
  7. Which is a recent movie or a book that you have watched or read?
    The last book I read (and am still reading) is The Monogram Murders by Sophie Hannah, starring Agatha Christie’s character Hercule Poirot. It’s really good!
  8. If you have to spend an entire day as someone who would that be (as in a movie character or a character from a story or T.V. series) and why?
    I would spend the day as Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter series so I could explore Hogwarts and see what goes on in her brilliant mind. 😀 Sorry, had to have a Harry Potter reference in here somewhere…
  9. Which is your favourite colour?
    Blue.
  10. What is your favourite sport to watch? Which sport do you enjoy playing?
    I like watching football and cricket. I enjoy playing badminton and ultimate frisbee.
  11. What is your favourite food?
    Pizza! *nom nom nom*

    But as you may know by now from my answer on your comment, I thank no to this. For the time being, I have to focus my time and energy on other matters. I really appreciate that you nominated me though.

    Congrats! So you already know to play a piano and you are a dancer. I’m so happy that school is over and so is maths. I also check the door to see if its locked or not.
