WHAT? I’m actually early?
I’m going to treasure this moment because it’ll probably be 2017 by the time I’m early for anything again…
But let’s get to the point! For Friday Fictioneers, writers respond to a prompt with 100 words or less. Thank you to Rochelle for providing the following photo prompt.

The Meeting
“D’you think there’ll be a storm?”
George peered at the sky. Clouds were gathering, and the breeze had a bite, but it didn’t smell like rain. He shook his head.
“D’you think he’ll get here soon?”
George sighed. “I don’t know, Petra.” Most of them had arrived and taken their seats. “He’ll get here when he gets here.”
“That’s helpful.”
“Actually, it’s circular reasoning—” began George, but was interrupted by an approaching figure.
Everyone sat up straighter.
“Good morning!” The chief landed on the wire. “We’ve got important matters to consider. Let’s start by discussing who we’ll poop on today.”

Sorry this one is kind of crude, I couldn’t figure out how else to phrase things. XD Other submissions to this prompt can be found here.
Thanks for reading, and until next time!
